BDSM Checklist Kinks and Limits Template: We Love a Good Spreadsheet, Consent and Clear Communication

Updated: Apr 12

Learning a new partner's interests, boundaries, aftercare preferences, and triggers is crucial before engaging in your first BDSM session. You've likely heard about having a safe word. I can't stress enough that if you think or someone says you don't need a safe word, then you have a major problem! 🚩

Clear communication and negotiation in BDSM goes beyond a safe word.

Whether you are an established Dom, sub or a newly exploring couple, it's important to have a basic foundation of your own interests and limits.

For many years, I admittedly kept my personal BDSM Kinks and Limits saved in my head. Although I felt confident about my ability to share this mental list, it wasn't always as easy as I thought. Even on my first date with Mr. Black I felt myself blanking out of nervousness when he asked what else I had enjoyed or experienced. Oh my, a submissive feeling timid with a new Dom, I've never heard of such a thing!🤭

Well, things were about to change and if you love a good spreadsheet, you'll especially like this next part ✨

Shortly after meeting, Mr. Black sent me a public BDSM Checklist Kinks and Limits Template. This was a game changer, and also quite educational as I had to Google a few kinks I had never heard of before.

It's an incredibly easy way to share your range of interests, experience, soft and hard limits, triggers, medical issues, and preferred aftercare.

It's worth noting that having a BDSM Checklist Kinks and Limits spreadsheet just for your own use is a beautiful way to understand yourself.

At any point, you can update the spreadsheet, whether it be with a kink you discovered gets your engine revving or a trigger word, for example.

Recently, I discovered the original BDSM Kinks and Limits template that we used was no longer publicly available. Luckily I saved a copy, and have now made that version public.

After you click the link below, it will open in Google spreadsheets and instructions are on the first page of how to save a copy for yourself.

If you have an organization kink like me, go take care of that situation 💦😉

Most importantly, take care of your friends & partners and share this spreadsheet.

Fondly,

Ms. Red
